Mr. Big

Mr. Big is truly the biggest tree we have seen anywhere in Arizona. According to the plaque, it has been there about 40 years. It is a gum tree and it is 8 feet across at the base of the trunk.

The gum trees were planted in such a way that they actually grew into a forest. They have named this part of the park the Australian sector because that is the home of these trees.
