Our trailer is a 1999 Jayco Eagle 293RKS which means it is about 30 feet long and has a Rear Kitchen and Slides. It is a 5th wheel trailer which means that it hooks up to a big disc-looking hitch (like you see on the 18-wheelers) that is bolted to the frame in the bed of the pickup.

We always have the awning down (unless there is a high wind), even though the entire site is shaded. Yes the door and windows are really open. The two doors you see on the front of the trailer are doors to the storage area, known in RV circles as “the basement”. It is actually about 5 1/2 feet from front to back and it runs from side to side. It has room for a lot of stuff. |
| The small front slide is 6 feet wide. On the inside is the head of the bed. You will kind of get a picture of the size when you look at the inside pictures. The larger slide behind it is where the dining room table and couch are. It is actually almost 13 feet wide. There is also an outside shower between the two slides, although we have no idea when we would ever use it. Maybe we’ll come up with something. |

It’s funny: so far all the pictures of the truck we have taken don’t make it look as tall as it really is. I am 5'5" and it is a lot taller than me. I have to climb up into it. I can’t wash the windows without a stool. But it goes gooooood! |
