Inside Our Home

Living Room This view is from the back of the trailer, looking toward the front. On the left you can see the couch. It actually sits in the big slide. You can see how much extra room we gain with it. On the right in the very bottom corner, you can see the refrigerator door. Then you can see the keyboard tray. Between the fridge and the computer is the TV. The dark space on the right is the hall to the bedroom. There are 2 steps up from the living room to the “bathroom”. (Sink and medicine cabinet on the right, room with the toilet and shower on the left). From there, 1 more step up to the bedroom.
This view is from the the bathroom “landing” looking straight back to the kitchen. Clockwise from the lower left is the computer, television, fridge, then you can’t see the stove, followed by the sink, our huge amount of counter space, pantry/microwave and the dining room table which also sits in the big slide. The floor of the slide actually sits about 4 inches up from the main floor, so I guess technically, we have a sunken living room. Kitchen
The High Tech Room Here is another view of the high tech and/or media room. You can’t see the phone desk on the left of the door, but you can see the computer desk and the TV/VCR/Stereo tower.
Headboard Dresser
This is a view of the “headboard”, which is actually a window in the small slide. There is about a foot of space between the bed and the wall on both sides for walking around. Up by the pillows there is about 1 inch of space. Just enough room to tuck in the comforter. There is a closet that runs the width of the trailer at the very front. Unfortunately it has mirrored doors. (I am sure that is to make the room look bigger, but it can be startling in the morning.) You can just barely make out a rumpled spot in front of the far pillow. That would be Tucker’s favorite daytime sleeping place. Go figure. This is the wall opposite the head of the bed. We call it “the dresser”. There are two giant cabinets on either side of the (I guess it is called a dressing table) shelf where Babs likes to sleep. Below the shelf is where we keep the litter box. So far—no midnight stink outs. Thank God for scoopable litter. The space above the fan is supposed to be for your TV, but since we never watch TV from bed (unless we are in a hotel where you have no choice), we put the clock up there. We could put the clock on one of the bedside tables, but they are the flip up/down kind and I’m pretty sure that the first time a cat walked on one, it would be curtains for the shelf.
